Fellowship Programme for Policy Researchers from the Western Balkans Region aims to contribute to further capacity building and professional development of policy researchers from the region of Western Balkans allowing them to build networks across Europe through paid visits to other policy research institutions and think-tanks in the EU and other countries of the Western Balkans.
The Programme which was initiated last year and already had successful first generation of fellows, is now in the second round. Five young researchers are selected to participate in the Programme and undertake their research in a chosen think-tank in one of the EU or Western Balkans country.
At a host organization, fellows will be engaged in ongoing policy research projects and they will develop concrete policy products (policy papers, briefs, newsletters…). After successfully finishing their fellowships, Fellows will become members of the EFB Community Network which will offer them further networking opportunities.
